Hi! We're 2 days in Cranbrook now, well this is the morning of the second day. The drive here was pretty nice, and we got in a lot earlier than we did last year. And that was definately nice. It's VERY hot though. Like 34 degrees, and there is no shade. Yesterday we went to the lake, and it felt a little cooler out there (mostly while, and just after, we were in the freezing water, but still). It's high on the list of things to do again while we're here, especially in this weather.

Today we're going to Nelson. My mom is coming too, so we're going to take the truck. I think it'll be especially nice to have someone with history knowledge along for the drive. I say 'along for the drive' because once we get there she's going to hang around at Kootenay lake on the beach and we'll check out the town. It's too hot for her too.

It's really hot. Like REALLY hot. It's 9:24am here, and it's already 26 degrees.
