So...apparently I am going to beat cuddles to the posting punch. (is that the saying? beat to the punch? brain is FRIED today)
We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. N had to share as we were at my parents house, but it was still very nice. He didn't get the whole day of spoiling that I got on Mother's Day, but his birthday is Saturday so he'll get it this weekend. A whole weekend of Daddy's way should make up for sharing last Sunday.
It was a really nice trip. We got to see my new nephew, and he's a perfect angel. White hair! And we set up my grandma's new eMac computer (she's 90!), and got her internet connection working. My dad will be giving lessons for a while, but she seemed pretty excited about it.
There is more to the trip, but I'm hungry, so you're getting ripped off. Sorry ;)
The SIL is coming up tomorrow, first trip up since she drove our moving truck. We're all really looking forward to seeing her. We'll play some Wii, chat, and eat. And maybe she'll even do some roller blading with N. I'm sure he'd really like to have someone to go with. And tomorrow night we're all (SIL included) going to the Moms BBQ so N can meet some other dads.

Tonight is my first "Mom's Night Out". In case you can't tell, I'm not there. I backed out, just not feeling up to meeting a bunch of new people right now. I am really happy with the moms I've met so far, but I don't think I'm quite ready to go out solo (haven't done it yet, and the b is 15 months old in 2 days), but I will be soon. The Husband really wanted me to go, but I stayed home instead.
It is HOT here. Seriously hot! We went to the park tonight as I thought (wrongly) that Relay for a Friend was there, and it was 33 degrees! In the evening! I wonder how long it will take to get used to this. We bought the b a little pool for the deck yesterday, and we're going to set that up tomorrow. It will probably make things nicer for him. And the central air conditioning helps a lot. ;)
Other news (as if that stuff was even news.)
My sister had a baby boy on May 28. He is 7lbs, 9ozs, and very healthy and cute. He's so blonde his hair looks white! Hopefully we'll get over there to see the new addition sometime in the next few weeks. And we bought my grandma an eMac last night. Obviously it's a used one, but its in great shape, and N is busy upgrading and overclocking it now (whatever that means). I don't think he really needs to, as she is 90, but he wants it to be the best it can be.
The b is crying, so this is it for the update (I know you're secretly thrilled, you can actually nap now).
