It's almost Christmas! I know it makes some people panicky, but I love, LOVE, love Christmas! All the things that make people crazy, I love! The shopping, the family, the MUSIC!!! And did I mention the shopping? This year my family decided to choose names instead of buying for everyone. It seems we all may have spent too much money on the very first grandchild. ; ) So I actually only have two people to buy for on my side of the family, which is nice, I guess, in it's own way. It makes things not so hectic. I haven't had to use the palm pilot yet. ; ) And we're already finished shopping for half of his family and have been for a while. Just a few more to go.

I guess that's boring.

I still haven't found a job yet. It makes me really anxious thinking about it. But I am doing something about it, so it's a start.

My birthday is coming up. Never my favourite time of year, but I'm not really dreading it this time. I'm not sure why, but I'm not going to over analyze a good thing, so...

And he FINALLY found a snow boarding jacket that he likes! He's been looking for two years and finally, one clicked. Fashion plate. So now it's one of his Christmas presents. I'm only going to wrap the tag though, because I'm really hoping he'll use it before then. There's a lot of snow on the mountains already, and he only went once last year. Part of me thinks that was because he felt like he was leaving me out, so I'm really pushing him this year. I want him to get as much use out of that snow as possible. He works hard, and he deserves it. Who knows, I might even try it myself once.

I know, I know. This is SOOOOO boring, why did I even bother? This way people know I'm happy. That's why.

Going to shower now, then try and get him to take me to Costco. He hates it, he really hates it. Just kidding.

My baby sister is pregnant!!! Everyone is so excited, especially because she has believed she'd never have children due to her levels of insulin resistance, or something like that. So this is amazing news!!! She's due in the middle of July. It's so weird, she's 28 but in my mind she's still the baby, and to think that she's going to be a mom, it's just...Wow!

Congratulations D and B! We're all so happy for you!
Today is Sunday. I have been told to update. Told nicely, more of a suggestion actually. That is not a sentence.

He's working today. I'm home with no big plans at all. It's kind of crappy outside, not that it would keep me in if he had the day off, but it's a little depressing kicking around in the rain by yourself. So I'm listening to the rest of the movies I rented that are due back today. Right now it's one with Mick Jagger as a high end pimp for men, and Andy Garcia as a husband/writer that is now escorting women to support his family, unbeknownst to his wife. And lying up a storm! I'm sure you're as interested as I am, but I didn't want to rent new releases cause I'd rather watch those with him.

Are you bored yet? The rest of the day is going to consist of finishing the @#$% CSI game that we bought a while ago. It is now the bane of my existence and I must complete it today. (Note: It is important to set goals when you are unemployed. It helps to keep you motivated. ;) ) After that, I'll go to the grocery store to buy whatever it is I decide to make for supper, I will consult the boy before I go. Then home, to make apple crisp and get dinner ready. I think that's it so far.

I'm scared to read this over before I post it, cause I don't want to find out that it doesn't make any sense and have to rewrite it. So I'm not going to. :p

ARGHH!!! I just finished a very long post about my trip to Lethbridge and somehow lost it. I have no idea which key I hit, but I really don't feel like writing it again. I'll do it tomorrow morning.

Sorry. Check back tomorrow for the highlights.

:)
