Okay, I'm back. Not that I have anything interesting to say, but back nonetheless. I have discovered that having a job helps you remain interesting and current. Therefore, if you do the math, that's my excuse. But soon, *crosses fingers*, soon I too will be working again. Right honey? Just continue to think positive.

I have my dress!!! Can you even believe it? Just a short 90 minutes! after the start of our search my mom and I were leaving the store with my dress!!! And what a deal! THANKS MOM!!! I LOVE YOU!!! It's beautiful, and that's really all I can say (he still reads this sometimes, honest). And I have bridesmaids. And we have the date set. So. Things are coming together, right? Ha! It feels like we've got nothing done so far, but really, all we actually need to get married is us, and love. So technically we're covered.

I found this website in my endless quest for a picture of my dress. If you're wondering why I want a picture of it, it's because 2 days after it became mine, it left for Cranbrook in order to avoid the cat and the boy. Fur from the cat, eyes of the boy. So it's not here. I can't look at it. I can't show it to anyone. And if I keep looking at the hundreds of pictures I'm searching through, I'm sure I'll completely forget what it looks like. But I digress. Back to the website that I found. It's very funny, just browse through the archives a little and I'm sure you'll see what I mean. In honour of the upcoming holiday, I thought I'd post this again! Hope you like it as much as I do!

If anyone has any wedding stories, traditions or superstitions that they'd like to share, I'd really like to hear them. I'm trying to incorporate both of our heritages (is that a word?) into our wedding, and I wouldn't mind suggestions. Also, any tips on things to watch out for/be careful about. You know, all that helpful stuff, even if it's something you heard from a friend of a cousin of a friend.
