Look! It's our tree!

(He took that last night.)
He just sent me this award. How cute is he? I told you I was a lucky girl! *heart*

Sometimes the things I want to write about just don't seem to want to be written once I'm here. I wanted to write about us being finished with our Christmas shopping, and our tree, and how happy we are. But the words just aren't really flowing.

The tree is beautiful, which I believe I've already said. And the presents are finished. But as much as I love shopping for gifts, this Christmas has already been better than perfect for me, and it hasn't even happened. We are so happy these days, so perfectly, wondrously happy, and nothing can be better than this. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, all day, every day. Right from the minute I wake up in the morning, until he kisses me at the end of the day. Even our arguments are perfect, because there is so much love that they only last minutes.

I'm gushing. Maybe that's why the words just won't come. Maybe there are just no words for this. Maybe there doesn't need to be any.

Maybe I should go eat something and lie down. ;) It's probably just the sinus infection.

(Seriously, it's not the infection...It's the love.)

He's not sick anymore. Hasn't been for almost a week now. His fever ended on my birthday, which I have to say was a very nice present. We spent that day decorating our very first Christmas tree, and it's beautiful, the only thing it's missing is that nice tree smell. But who wants everything anyway?

He's still sick. His fever is coming down though, and that's a good sign. Damn flu. He was awake most of last night, trying to sleep in the living room as our roof in the bedroom leaked during the rain storm. Drat! Didn't stain the mattress though, so we were lucky. The landlords came right away, and cleaned out the drain outside and stuff, so I think it should be good now. *crosses fingers*

He slept most of the day today, and ate tonight, so I have high hopes for tomorrow. Not that he'll be doing anything, but hopefully he'll start to feel a bit better by then.

On an entirely different note, I renewed my driver's license today. I had to get out of the house because I'm sure my hovering was driving him crazy, and it seemed like the perfect time to renew it, especially since it expires on Saturday. I had to tell them that I lost my old one though, just in case the new one doesn't arrive in time for my flight on the 26th. I have to have picture ID to get on the plane. And we've just about finished our Christmas shopping. I've had a really good time shopping this year, haven't even been stressed about it. :) Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Christmas? And pretty soon (when he's better) we're even going to get a tree!!!!

He's sick! I couldn't believe my own ears when he came home from work yesterday. He said he felt terrible, and actually wanted to come home at 2:00pm. He's never sick. And even when he has a cold or something, he never admits he doesn't feel good. First thing he did when he got home was get in the bath for an hour. :( I feel so bad for him. And he's got a fever. Well, it comes and goes, directly proportionate to the tylenol I've been giving him. Normally he won't take anything, but he didn't have much of a choice last night due to the fever. But this morning, when it was back, he voluntarily took 2! He's never taken 2 of anything before! This worries me too. I know I'm driving him a little crazy with my hovering, but it's a little scary for me because he quite honestly has never been this sick since I've known him. I hope it's not this terrible flu. But I don't know where he would have picked it up. He says his throat hurts, and he's got a terrible cough. And the fever.

So just in case anyone is looking for him, he's home in bed today. And he luckily has the next 2 days off anyway, so he'll get lots of rest.

I feel so bad for him. :(

Just ignore me, I'm probably over-reacting.
