If anyone knows about last night, well then you know I'm trying to distract myself. But, at least some good has come from it. Finally, FINALLY, I've found out what the heck the Orcas are all over the city for. I mean, I know it must have been on the news and everything when they started it, but I missed it. Just saw the first Orca, then one more across town, but now I have the official scoop . At least they decided that calves would be better than adults. Could you imagine? A city filled with life size sculptures of killer whales? Methinks a little too much. Maybe one day I'll run around the city and take pictures of all the ones I can find. Who knows, maybe one day he might...Whatever. I'll take the pictures. I can do it by myself, no problem. :)

This might be my last post. I'm afraid that I'm going to die of starvation as he is apparently cooking me dinner tonight, but from what I can see it is still frozen. And he's still on the phone. Talking about a fan. Not the new on-sale fan that I wanted, because he said no, that he'd fix the broken one. He's talking about the broken one, that's now more broken cause he tried to fix it. And not making dinner. So far, I've eaten popcorn, and some chocolate (and yet we wonder why I'm expanding). And I'm still hungry. And I have already consumed all my allowable calories for the day, and still no dinner.
I'M STARVING HONEY!!!!!! GET OFF THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please.
Please read this post with a sense of humour. I am fully aware that I won't die, am capable of cooking for my self, and he's good at fixing things. Honest. *wink*

Well, the re-recording is done. It actually only took 25 minutes, so it wasn't too bad. And there will probably be more of it, so I guess I should just prepare myself. I just take things too personally. Also, had a long talk with my MOH this morning, and that helped too. Now I'm off to the grocery store, but I've emailed a marriage commissioner, and the Chapel for information on the Pastor they have available, so hopefully we'll have someone to marry us confirmed soon.
That's the update...
That's the update...
Good Morning!
Oddly enough, I stayed in bed this morning longer than usual due to this weird sense of dread that I've been feeling this weekend. When I did get up (my cell phone was continually going off as my wonderful HTB had sent me a happy text message), I checked my email and discovered 2 things. First, the caterer I'd found that had good menus and still looked affordable is unable to take our wedding. I think he had misunderstood in the first place, as I was just wanting a quote at this time, but still, he's too busy and won't be able to do it. Rats. Second, I had an email regarding the 17 pages of files I'd recorded on Thursday, and there's a bunch of those I need to do over due to distortion. I knew there would be some changes I'd need to do, but for some reason it just made me feel bad this morning. I guess at least I've got work to do.
I really need to get in the shower and start this morning over. I'm going to make roast beef for dinner tonight, and I'm quite looking forward to preparing it. I'm going to try something a little different this time, and we're having company so I hope it works.
I want to be working. I'm sure that I'll have better things to write about then, not just the wedding and what we're going to have for dinner.
There's a few more things I'd like to get done today as well, not the least of which are the invitations (ordered, do I dare wish for this?) and contacting someone to marry us. At least once those are done we will definitely be married at the end of that day, and there will be people there to share it with us. They may have to eat crackers afterwards, but...
We'll figure something out.

Have I mentioned that I'm recording 17 pages of voice prompts for a calling card service in Hong Kong? And oddly enough, after working on it for the last 2 and a half hours, guess what hurts? If you guessed my throat, you're wrong. Your guess is incorrect (Slow Voicemail language). No, my wrist is KILLING me. The little ball-y boney thing, right at the base of my wrist. It's even all red, so just in case I didn't notice the pain, I have a visual alert. Somehow I don't think that this chair is aligned properly with my keyboard and mouse tray. So that boney thing rests on(pushes into)it the entire time I'm using the mouse. And it HURTS!!!
Enough. I'm done whining now. Um. Does anyone know how to spell whining?

I can't tell if it's the new pill I'm taking, or the fact that our house guests have no interest in spending any time with us, but for whatever reason I have the blues. Or should I say I'm expecting the blues? I can feel them coming on strong, but have yet to let any of the ridiculous tears through. I hate that this happens to me. And I hate even more that I always have to worry about whether it's depression coming back, or see if I can find something in my environment that triggered it, or if I've tried a new food, or pill, or whatever. It never is as simple as "I feel blue" anymore, and that's all I want it to be. But I learned the hard way what happens when I ignore stuff, and just pretend it's regular blues. And I don't want to be there again either.
I wish I just didn't care so much. I'm pretty sure this is just hurt feelings about the house guests, but since I have started a new b/c pill, well, there's really no way to be sure. I just have to monitor it and see what happens.
Bleh. :(
