Sorry it's been so long between updates, I just haven't been feeling that well lately. But here's hoping I've turned the corner.

My parents were up last week. They brought the RV and camped nearby, and spend all their time with me and the B. The first day, Mom and I canned 11 quartz of cherries, and the next day we did 13 quartz of peaches! I can't tell you how happy that makes me! I'm sure N doesn't get it either, but I just really want to be able to have our own fruit this winter. AND... And we bought a little upright freezer. ON SALE!! I'm still in trouble for buying it, but I really believe he'll be fine once he realizes how nice it is to have a freezer again. I'm going to make a bunch of pies and apple crisp so that it can just come out of the freezer and go in the oven for dessert on those cold fall/winter nights. I can hardly wait!

The b has been sleeping MUCH better lately. He mostly sleeps through the night these days. Except last night. For some reason, he's behaving as though he drank 11 pots of coffee. He was wide awake and running around last night at almost 10, much to the dismay of his parents! :s And then woke up just after 6 this morning. And now he won't go for a nap. And he's tired. Honest. He just can't seem to fall asleep. But there has been nothing new added to his diet, and I know he can't work the coffee maker (and we only have decaf). Hopefully he'll crash soon.

We have added a new addition to the living room.

It's a little big, but the closest we can give him to a yard, for the time being. And he LOVES it!!! N drove down to Vancouver to pick it up last Friday. He didn't get to stay for very long, but he saw his sister and some friends, and I think they had nice, although short, visits. Too bad he couldn't visit anyone else, but next time.

Well, that's it for me. Except...it's an old friend's birthday tomorrow (not OLD friend, but friend for a long time) and I didn't get a card sent to her. Sorry! I sent an ecard though, and am sending happy wishes via this site! Much love Carrie, hope the day is the happiest yet!

And now, off to nap. When the b doesn't have a good night sleep, either do I and now that's he's napping I'm not going to miss my chance.
