It's Thursday night, one week before we leave for our trip. It seems like there is SO much to do before we go. I know that realistically, there can't really be that much, it's only a road trip and we'll never be more than hours away from one family or another, but it seems like I'll never get everything ready in time. It doesn't help that I'm hardly sleeping these days either. Last night I ended up taking stuff to help me sleep, and then was 90 minutes late for work because I couldn't get out of bed! (Don't worry, I called them at 6 to say I'd be in later.)

My parents were in town this weekend. We had great weather, played some scrabble, did some shopping and strolling around Granville Island. It was really nice to see them, even though I just saw my Mom, they haven't been down here together in a while. So it was fun. They stayed with us on Saturday night, and then spent 2 nights in the Granville Island hotel. The room was pretty small, but it had a great view, location and AIR CONDITIONING. With the weather we had on the weekend that was the most important part.

I have nothing to say. At all. And a headache. So I'm going to go try and get some sleep, and hopefully I'll feel inspired and write something interesting soon.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful summer! I can't wait to get doing that myself. :)
