It's Saturday, and he made me breakfast in bed! Well, we ate in the living room, but that's cause I got up right before he finished. But it was perfect, and he did it just for me. I am a lucky girl! *smile* He got a promotion on Thursday, and it was official yesterday. So we no longer work in the same department. I'll miss him, it was nice not to ever have to worry about things getting done, but this is better for him, which will always be better for both of us. I think he's excited about it, but he's holding back for some reason. I'm not sure he has an easy time letting things go, and I think he's having a hard time accepting that certain things aren't going to be his responsibility anymore. But, it's not like he's leaving the company, so he'll always be available if the new guy breaks stuff.

Our first loan payment comes out tomorrow, and we'll already have paid off almost $1500! That's his plan, we're making 4 payments a month, instead of just the one, and we'll be out of debt in under a year!! I can hardly believe it's real.

Friends are coming over today to see the new room, and then we're going out for a girl's lunch. It'll be fun to get together with these two again; I haven't seen them both together for a really long time. He's spending the day doing his kind of computer stuff, and I think he's pretty happy about it. And then we're going to go pick up appetizers and attend a 'Games Night' at his friends' place. I'm sort of looking forward to it. It sounds like we could have a really good time. Except I have a funny feeling that Cranium is on the agenda, and I really, really don't want to hum.
